Another edition of CES – Consumer Technology Association – ended on Saturday. It’s the place to be for anyone involved in, you’ve guessed it, consumer technology and innovation. Like every year, it was held in Las Vegas, which is a great change of scenery if you’re based in a Munich that could not decide between snow and rain.
It’s not easy to pick favourites after this event and it is with great effort that we bring you ours, in a random order:
- Being animal lovers and involved in many volunteer and fund raising activities, this game from Cleverpet cannot not be on our list. It’s fun and engaging for your dog, keeps them busy and makes them work for the treat they receive.
- We’ve been following wireless charging for a while and think Humavox are on to something. Radio waves can change the game. Imagine charging your phone in any space, like the cup holder of your car. The possibilities are endless with this one.
- VR just got some awesome content with The Martian. The 20-minute trailer puts you in Mark Watney’s shoes and gives you a mesmerising experience of being on Mars.
- A must this one is for any StarWars lover out there. BB-8 from Sphero has the unique capacity of adapting its personality as you play.
- Online payments are one of our major services, so any innovation here interests us. We’re more used to paying by phone, but we have to at least mention the paying by fridge from Samsung and MasterCard. Emancipated kitchen of the future.
