At the end of October, a spring-like Paris held an ever so friendly GameConnection.
The format of this event seems specially designed for spontaneous meetings and networking. It’s the perfect setting for creative ideas that start-off challenging projects. And our team is always up for a good challenge which usually allows us to combine the precision and innovation of German engineering.
A great initiative from the GameConnection organizers was the ‚payment day‘, with insightful sessions covering the hottest subjects right now. One of these topics was the new regulations regarding VAT handling starting January 2015. infin-Payment is a complete service, and one of the important benefits for our merchants is the fact we handle and document VAT. We will continue to do so, in accordance with the new legislation.
We took the opportunity to visit the hectic Paris Games Week, held in a different hall at the same location. It was definitely worth a visit, so if you missed it this time, make sure to check it out next year. There is something for everyone and it’s so well organized it’s easy to find exactly what you want even if you don’t have a lot of time to spare.
Since before Gamescom, we’ve started to once again receive requests for subscriptions and we are noticing that this product is more and more interesting to some merchants, especially because the payment process has been much optimized with new safety measures.
